Replacements for the DOST-Managed Regional Science High Schools

1.   In view of the creation of the Philippine Science High School System through R.A. 8496 (An Act to Establish the Philippine Science High School System and Providing Fundds Therefor) the Department of Education, Culture and Sports through the Bureau of Secondary Education shall replace the Philippine Science High Schools which were previously identified as Regional Science High Schools (RSHS).
2.   The Schools are:

3.   These schools meet the minimum requirements of a Science High School as stipulated in DECS Order No. 69 s. 1993 and shall be totally but gradually converted into a Regional Science High School.
4.   The implementation of the RSHS curriculum in these schools shall start in SY 1999-2000.

5.   Immediate dissemination of this Order is desired.
