This 2016 Annual Report reflects integral efforts of all the eight (8) functional divisions of the newly reorganized/chartered Regional Office. This also showcases the breadth and depth of the adjustment of the work target modification of key result areas and identification of what should be done, how it is done and even, when should it be done.
2016 has witnessed the crafting of the Regional Education Development Plan (REDP) which piloted some, yet novel policies as "principle of equity", "omnibus direction" "integrated approach" and other management nuggets related to efficiency, opportunity and equity, premised on our compliance with EO 366 (Rationalization Plan) as quality assurance; curriculum instruction and supervision; policy, research development and customization, financial discipline and quick response mechanism for administrative matters and field technical assistance matters.
As part of a historic effort for change, resource inadequacies and infractions have become inevitable. Seemingly, targeting has become the name of the game and compliance have become an organic obedience. Just like the previous Annual Report, this document shows off financial documents to promote integrity and transparency and good governance in support the freedom of Information law. Innovations have been introduced in committee membership towards the deadline have been set. Staff meetings have been strengthened to strongly propel an invaluable practice of communication and collaboration. Thus, 2016 has been a year of transition for readjustments and reengagements.
