DO 15, s. 1985
Reminder on Regulations on Travel of Officials Outside of their Stations
To: Deputy Ministers
Assistant Secretaries
Bureau Directors
Regional Directors
Chief of Services and Heads of Centers/Units
Schools Superintendents
- It has been noted that a number of officials, specifically Regional Directors and Assistant Regional Directors leave their stations to come to Manila or go elsewhere without prior approval of this Office.
- Reminder is hereby given that all travels of Career Executive Service Officers (CESOs) outside their stations must have prior approval of the Minister.
- This Office has also noted that Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents and other officials are sometimes in Manila for days on end obviously inattentive to division problems. Attention is called to existing regulations that Regional Directors may approve travel of their officials outside the region for only ten days. Any travel of officials outside the region for more than ten days requires approval of this Office.
- Observance of regulations on travel of officials is enjoined. Any violation will be dealt with administratively.
