1. Pursuant to the provisions of Article V, Chapter I, Part VII of the Integrated Reorganization Plan, the regional directors are hereby authorized, effective this date, to sit in the board listings of chartered state colleges and universities located in their respective regions, and to participate in its deliberations without the right to vote.
2. This authority shall not include the University of the Philippines, Central Luzon State University, University of Eastern Philippines, Central Mindanao State University, Technological University of the Philippines, Polytechnic University of the Philippines and Philippine Normal College.
3. Regional directors are required to submit periodic reports to the Minister on matters taken up in the said board meetings, and it shall be their responsibility to call the attention of the Minister on any developments which may require her personal attention.
4. Department Order No. 34, s. 1975, is hereby rescinded.
