1. In line with the implementation of MECS Order No. 36, s. 1984 as amended and pursuant to the Memorandum of Agreement entered into on September 21, 1984 by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports (MECS) on one hand, and the Federation of Accrediting Agencies of the Philippines (FAAP) on the other, a DECS-FAAP Coordinating Committee on Accreditation is organized with the following members:
   Director, Bureau of Higher Education – Chairman
   Director, Bureau of Secondary Education – Member
   Director, Bureau of Elementary Education – Member
   Director, Bureau of Technical-Vocational Education – Member
   Regional Director, Region IV – Member
   President, FAAP – Member
   Two FAAP representatives from the other founding members – Member
   Representative, FAPE – Members
2. The Committee shall be responsible for (a) coordinating accreditation activities involving the DECS and FAAP; and (b) recommending to the parties concerned proposals to improve voluntary accreditation.
3. This Order rescinds MECS Order No. 67, s. 1984.
4. Immediate dissemination of this Order is desired.
