Clarification on the Implementation of CAT in the Secondary Schools

- In reply to queries regarding the implementation of CAT I in the secondary schools, the following clarificatory statements are hereby issued for guidance:
- CAT I Program is still a requirement for all 4th year students (boys and girls) in the secondary schools unless otherwise revised in subsequent agreements;
- Girls may be excused from certain activities of the Program such as Field Stripping (Orientation to U.S. Rifle Cal. 30 M-L) and Manual of Arms (School of Soldiers with Arms). In lieu of these activities they may be given Advanced First Aid, Emergency Preparedness and Disaster Control.
- Immediate dissemination of this Order is desired.
