1. Upon the recommendation of DECS Region X Office, Cagayan de Oro City, and the Bureau of Higher Education, Surigao del Norte School of Arts and Trades in Surigao City is hereby authorized to operate the Bachelor of Secondary Education (BSED) major in Industrial Arts and the Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED) major in Work Education courses, in lieu of the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education (BSIEd) course beginning SY 1989-90.
2. This authority is issued as a special case, provided, that the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Education course presently offered by the school be gradually phased out beginning SY 1989-90; and provided further that budgetary requirements for the operation of the herein approved courses be appropriated and maintained.
3. In case of failure on the part of above-named school to observe and maintain any of the required standards of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports affecting said courses and to provide appropriation to support the same, the authority hereby granted may be revoked and cancelled.
4. It is desired that this Order be widely disseminated.
