- Pursuant to DECS Order No. 29, s. 1988, Operationalizing the National Center for Technical Education and Staff Development and MECS Order No. 27, s. 1986, Institutionalizing the Centers for Technical Education and Staff Development (CTESDs) for Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao, advisory boards for these institutions are hereby organized, and members designated. These advisory boards are the executive bodies which shall oversee the operations of the Centers in staff development, research and manpower planning, curriculum materials development and physical facilities maintenance and production. The advisory boards shall meet at least once every quarter.

CTESD – MindanaoMember (Ex-officio) - It is reiterated that the Centers are to be administered as semi-autonomous units of their respective mother institutions. They shall be guided by policy and program directions from this Office through their respective advisory boards in order to ensure their effectiveness in development of technical and vocational education.
- The advisory board members, excluding those who serve in their ex-officio capacity, in consideration of their services, will receive honoraria/allowances per meeting as authorized under existing rules and regulations.
- These designations are effective as of October 1, 1988 until December 31, 1989.
- Immediate dissemination of this Order is desired.
