1. In order to provide enough time for evaluation of the application for renewal permit of Maritime upgrading courses, all training centers are required to file their application five (5) months before the expiration date of their permit to the Bureau of Higher Education through the DECS regional offices, copy furnished the Maritime Training Council, Department of Labor and Employment, POEA Building, Ortigas Avenue, Mandaluyong, Metro Manila.
2. Maritime Training Centers without the proper authority to conduct maritime training programs shall not be allowed to operate until such time that authority is obtained.
3. Similarly, permits not renewed for one year or more shall automatically be treated as new applications.
4. All Maritime Training Centers are required to submit to the Bureau of Higher Education, Palacio del Gobernador, Intramuros, Manila quarterly summary enrolment report using the attached form.
