Guidelines in the Organization of Subsidized Training and Press Conferences in the Elemetary, Secondary and Tertiary Levels under R.A. 7079

- In order to maximize the participation of campus student publication writers and teacher-advisers in the elementary, secondary and tertiary levels training activities and press conferences, and in the utilization of funds to subsidize the above activities under R.A. 7079, otherwise known as the Campus Journalism Act of 1991, the guidelines inclosed to this Order shall be adhered to.
- Student-writers in each level—elementary, secondary and tertiary—are encouraged to organize themselves into regional as well as national associations so that they can avail of training activities and participation in press conferences.
- The DECS Technical Service in coordination with the regional and division offices shall monitor and provide technical assistance to training activities and participation in press conferences.
- Dissemination of this Order to all concerned is hereby directed.
