- One of the basic and necessary facilities in the schools and DECS Offices is the toilet. The toilet must be one of the cleanest facilities in all schools and DECS Offices for health and hygienic purposes.
- Heads of schools and offices are hereby directed to renovate old toilets or construct new ones and provide water and hand washing facilities. Pupils and students should be taught how to use toilets properly as part of their health education.
- Regional, division and district supervisors should check on these facilities in schools and DECS Offices with emphasis on cleanliness and hygienic aspects.
