Task Force School Site

  1. To effectively implement the DECS Housing Program and to ensure that legal problems are taken care of, the Task Force School Site is hereby created with the following duties and functions:
    1. To determine the status of school sites proposed for housing program nationwide;
    2. To help in the registration of unregistered school sites covered by a deed of conveyance in favor of the government (DECS) with the Register of Deeds and to obtain Transfer Certificate of Title for said land;
    3. To recommend the purchase of and/or the filing of appropriate legal action to protect the interest of DECS on the school site as circumstances warrant;
    4. To prepare whatever legal documents are needed for the project; and
    5. To secure the assistance of the regional/division office, if necessary, in the exercise of the functions.

  3. The Task Force is requested to initially look into the Jalandoni Estate as a possible rise for housing.
