Task Force School Site

- To effectively implement the DECS Housing Program and to ensure that legal problems are taken care of, the Task Force School Site is hereby created with the following duties and functions:
- To determine the status of school sites proposed for housing program nationwide;
- To help in the registration of unregistered school sites covered by a deed of conveyance in favor of the government (DECS) with the Register of Deeds and to obtain Transfer Certificate of Title for said land;
- To recommend the purchase of and/or the filing of appropriate legal action to protect the interest of DECS on the school site as circumstances warrant;
- To prepare whatever legal documents are needed for the project; and
- To secure the assistance of the regional/division office, if necessary, in the exercise of the functions.
