Reiteration on Simple and Inexpensive Graduation Rates

- In line with the policy on simple and austere school activities, all school heads are advised to hold simple, inexpensive but meaningful graduation rites. Attention of school officials is called to observe the following:
- No excessive contributions should be charged from graduating students or their parents for supposed expenses for elaborate stage decorations, ribbons, medals and other miscellaneous but non-essential items; and
- No expensive special attire should be required nor graduation balls should be held in five-star hotels or exclusive restaurants compelling graduating students to participate and contribute additional and excessive amounts.
- Immediate dissemination of this Order is urgently requested.
