1.   It has come to the attention of this Department on the existence of some tampered PEPT results being presented to admission officers/registrars in colleges/universities/schools for enrolment purposes.

2.   In this connection, it is advised that PEPT certifications, suspected as spurious, be verified immediately at the National Educational Testing and Research Center (NETRC) for their authenticity. This is to discourage the public from securing PEPT certifications thru fraudulent means.

3.   For speedy verification all concerned may fax message/certification at telefax # 631-69-21 or call the NETRC at the same number or 631-25-71.

4.   Immediate and wide dissemination of this Order is directed.
