Retention of Full-Time Designated District NFE Coordinators

1. This is to reiterate DECS Order No. 57, s. 1998 entitled Corrigendum to DECS Order No. 47, s. 1998 which read:
“Except the nonformal education coordinators who should work on full-time basis, provided they should perform the duties and responsibilities stated in DECS Order No. 82, s. 1994”.
2. The District NFE Coordinators play a very vital role in coordinating and participating in the planning for development and implementation of NFE projects, in the conduct of advocacy and social mobilization and in the research and development activities.
3. To continue operationalizing the above cited duties and responsibilities, this Office hereby enjoins the officials concerned to retain the full-time assignment of all District NFE Coordinators whose role in the NFE program is very critical.
4. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Order is directed.
