Amendment to DECS Order No. 73, s. 1998 (Reclassification of Habitual Tardiness as Light Offense and Revision of Penalty for Violation Thereof)

1.   For the information of all concerned, inclosed is a copy of Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular No. 34, s. 1998 relative to an amendment to Section 3, Rule XVII of the Omnibus Rules Implementing Book V of Executive Order No. 292 (Administrative Code of 1987) in order to conform with the provision of Section 23 or grave offenses of the same Rules as amended by CSC MO No. 23, s. 1998, which now reads as follows:
“SEC. 8: Officers and employees who have incurred tardiness and undertime regardless of the number of minutes per day, ten (10) times a month for atleast two (2) consecutive months during the year or for atleast (2) months in a semester should be subject to disciplinary action.”
