1.   As a matter of policy, the DECS does not allow extension of services beyond retirement, except those covered under R.A. 8291 specifically Section 13 (b) as indicated in DECS Order No. 7, s. 1998.

2.   In view thereof, this Department reminds those retiring personnel not to approach patrons to help them on requests of extension. Any endorsement on extension of services after 65 years of age is hereby discouraged by this Office.

3.   Dissemination of and compliance with this Order is hereby directed.
