Corrigendum to DepED Order No. 25, s. 2004 on School Calendar for SY 2004-2005

Heads, Public and Private Elementary and Secondary Schools

  1. Item No. 2 of DepEd Order No. 25, s. 2004 on the School Calendar for SY 2004-2005 is hereby corrected as follows:
    “The dates given in this calendar shall be compulsory for public elementary and secondary schools. Private schools may deviate from this school calendar provided they do not open earlier than the first (1st) Monday of June, as provided in existing laws. However they need to complete the minimum number of class hours and class days, and notify the appropriate DepEd Office in advance.”
  2. Enclosure No. 2 of the Order should include November 8-12 as the period for the Five-Day Break for Secondary.
  3. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Order is directed.
