Heads, Private Elementary and Secondary Schools

1. This Office requires all regional offices to submit list of names and addresses of private schools with permit to operate or recognition, or accreditation within their respective area of responsibility to the Office of the Undersecretary for Regional Operations on or before May 22, 2007.
2. The list of private schools with permit to operate/recognition/accreditation should be posted at the regional and division offices, municipal halls and other conspicuous places. The regional and division offices are advised to encourage parents to enroll their children to private schools permitted or recognized by the Department of Education.
3. Students enrolled or finished an alleged grade/year level in schools without the required permit are advised to take the Philippine Validating Test (PVT) prior to admission to determine proper grade/year placement at the National Education Testing and Research Center (NETRC), DepED Central Office, Mabini Bldg.
