Discontinuing the Conduct of the Regional and Division Achievement Tests

- With the start of the transition phase in the implementation of the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum, all scheduled Regional Achievement Tests (RAT) and Division Achievement Tests (DAT) or any similar assessment tools used by the regions and the divisions in the public school system are hereby discontinued beginning School Year (SY) 2012-2013.
- The National Achievement Test (NAT) held March of every year shall be the sole assessment tool that will be recognized in measuring the performance of pupils and students attributing to the performance of individual schools, municipalities, congressional districts, schools city divisions, provinces and regions.
- Conduct of any other school assessments must be properly coordinated with the Office of the Secretary through the Undersecretary for Programs and Projects.
- Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Order is directed.
