The Department of Education, Tagbilaran City Division topped in the clients’/customers’ satisfaction rating
as a survey result of the 2015 Bohol Poll of government offices which the Boholano voters are satisfied.
As bared by HNU Center of Research and Publications, through its Research Coordinator, Ms Maria Paz
J. Espiritu, City DepEd’s rating tied with the Governor’s Office which was followed by the Mayor’s Office of
Corella and Jagna and the Trinidad Civil Registrar’s Office.
In an interview with the City DepED Superintendent, Dr. Evangel M. Luminarias,CESO V, she
expressed her affirmation that indeed, this high rating result is the collective and collaborative effort of all the
personnel although it has gone through difficult times and has experienced stern criticisms/reactions even from its
own personnel in the course of implementing change in the whole system and operation of the office and the
schools.
Through all these learning experiences, she firmly believes that the vision, mission and goals of the
department still guide all the personnel towards the right direction and to collectively realize these VMG, the reason
for their existence in the Education department.
SDS Luminarias is grateful to all stakeholders, who, in one way or the other, have been with them in their
pursuit for pupils’ increased learning through efficient delivery of services; those who have the heart and concern
for the future of our children; and those who have joined in the bandwagon of implementing continued change in the
supervision and management of the whole City DepEd.
It could be recalled that this survey was conducted last March and April this year and the result has been
published by Bohol Times last May 3, 2015 issue, p 10 , “Excellent…”
