Modules for the Banner Projects on Human Resource Training and Development for the school heads, teachers and non-teaching personnel of DepEd – Division of Talisay City were introduced during its celebration on the National Teachers’ Day sponsored by the Local Government Unit of Talisay City on October 5, 2016 at the Waterfront Hotel, Lahug, Cebu City. 

             Recognizing the noble obligation of the celebrants to the Filipino learners, DepEd – Division of Talisay City presented its Banner Projects on HR Training and Development which include the following: (1) CARE (Creating an Atmosphere for Responsive Educational Services, (2) TEACH  (Teachers’  Educational Assessment on Curriculum Hotspots, (3) NURTURE (Nobly Understanding the Role of the Teachers in Uplifting the Realities of the Environment, (4) IMPART (Instructional Management Practice Acquisition in Response to Technology needs, and (5) BRIDGE (Bringing Responsibility  and Initiative of the Division to Grassroots Environment). 

               All attendees who participated in the singing and dance competitions of this celebration wore Filipiniana attires of Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao island groups. Cash prizes and giveaways were given to the winners of the said activities. The celebration did not leave everyone empty-handed.
