Peoples Republic of Bangladesh Ministry of Education visit to DepEd-NCR

Delegates from the Peoples Republic of Bangladesh Ministry of Education visited the DepEd- National Capital Region for a study tour to benchmark on the best practices of the Philippine education system, specifically on Secondary Education held on January 13, 17 and 19, 2017. The delegation was headed by four (4) honorable members of the parliament together with officials from the Ministry of Education, Deputy Directors from the Secondary Education Quality Access Enhancement Project (SEQAEP) and Head teachers from different Secondary schools in Bangladesh. A seminar-training on Secondary Education System was organized by DepEd- NCR and spear-headed by the Policy, Planning, and Research Division (PPRD) for the visitors. Dr. Victoria R. Mayo, Chief PPRD discussed the History of Secondary Education and Management of Learning in the Philippine Education System, Problems of Teachers in Secondary Level, and Teaching and Learning Process including Strategies in English. The Monitoring and Evaluation Systems of Secondary Schools in DepEd- NCR was discussed by, Dr. Warren A. Ramos, Education Program Supervisor, PPRD and Teaching and Learning Process including Strategies in Mathematics by Dr. Remylinda T. Soriano, Education Program Supervisor, SDO Manila.
