5,078 hurdles 2015 A&E Test

The 2015 Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) Test passers of the Alternative Learning System (ALS) increased by 47 percent this year. The region has a total of 5, 078 passers from the previous year’s 2, 587. This is by far the highest number of passers of the said test. The result was released by the Department of Education Central Office last June 29, 2016.
For this year’s A&E Test, the region has a total number of 11, 552 test takers from the eight divisions of the region both in Elementary and Secondary Level.
These passers will be given a certificate or diploma stating that their competencies are comparable to that of the formal school system. They will also qualify to enroll in secondary and post-secondary schools nationwide.
