RO9 personnel participates joint BSP, GSP training
The basic training course was realized through the efforts of Regional Director Dr. Isabelita M. Borres and CLMD Supervisors Dr. Ruel A. Saldua and Dr. Norvina A. Tubongbanua in close coordination with their Division Chief, Dr. Eugenio B. Penales.
“Let us revitalized girl scouting in schools, encouraged more membership and participation, help support the programs, projects and activities of the organization,” said Borres in her message.
Eighty (80) personnel from the different divisions and sections of the office attended the training. “Scouting is enjoyable. To understand the deepest meaning of scouting, let our young people experience the reality of what is happening in the outside world through fun and games,” said Nelson Lasagas, one of the participants.
The facilitators and resource speakers of the said training were carefully chosen from the rosters of trainers of the BSP and GSP Zambo. del Sur and Pagadian City Chapters. With the cooperation and teamwork of the participants and trainers, the three-day basic training course was a remarkable success.
