November 29, 2022 – The Department of Education (DepEd) was awarded by the Civil Service Commission (CSC) for being one of the 20 top-performing government offices with the highest public complaints resolution.

In celebration of the 122nd Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, the CSC issued a certificate of recognition to DepEd for “achieving one of the highest complaints resolution rates for the past decade” as a CSC’s Contact Center ng Bayan (CCB) partner.

As one of CCB’s key partners, DepEd posted a high resolution rate for CCB-related concerns in the last 10 years. This year, the Public Affairs Service-Public Assistance and Action Center (PAS-PAAC) has an 87.3% resolution rate.

For a decade, the CCB served as the government’s primary feedback facility platform that provides an avenue for the transacting public to air out their concerns about the quality of government services.

Other top government agencies cited by CSC were the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Manila Metropolitan Development Authority (MMDA), and Philippine Overseas Employment Administration (POEA), among others.
