- Pursuant to RA 11713 Excellence in Teacher Education Act of 2021, the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP) is mandated to provide scholarships and fellowships for in-service teachers, school leaders, and other teaching-related personnel in public basic education institutions to pursue advanced studies in specialized fields subject to corresponding service obligations. As such, NEAP, in partnership with the University of the Philippines College of Education (UP CEd), provided scholarship programs to better support teachers and school leaders in their pursuit of professional growth through initiatives and innovative programs, including but not limited to collaborative research projects that aim to enhance teacher education curriculum, teacher training designs, teacher education, and continuing professional education of teachers and academic leaders.
- In this light, NEAP released a memorandum titled Official List of UP College of Education NEAP Graduate Scholarship Program last July 26, 2022, to inform concerned DepEd Officials and personnel on providing appropriate workload considerations and prepare PD program status monitoring of the teacher-scholars.
