Target Professional Standards: PPST 1.1.2, 3.1.2, 4.1.2, 4.3.2, 5.1.2, 5.4.2, 6.2.2, 7.3.2
Active Learning Hours: NTOT & Certification of Career Advocates – 26 hours and 15 minutes; Training of Career Guidance Advocates – 26 hours and 45 minutes
By the end of the program, the career advocates will be able to craft a comprehensive CGP Action plan that caters to the needs of the learners in the context of the community and pass the certification assessment for career guidance advocates.
Specifically, the participants will be able to:

Assess the effectiveness of the current Career Guidance Program (CGP) in the context of basic education, identifying key strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.

equip with knowledge, skills, and competencies in helping their students understand themselves in the context of their environment; and to become Career-Conscious K 12 Graduates

discuss the salient provisions of relevant legal bases related to career guidance and advocacy as well as for f enhancing the capacity of teachers to become career advocates;
