1. In closed is a copy of Memorandum Circular No. 18, s. 1990, of the Civil Service Commission prescribing the policies and guidelines adopted by the Commission to provide additional GSIS insurance to officials and employees who are engaged in high risk jobs, or who, in connection with, or in relation to the performance of their official duties perform high risk functions outside their official stations for a limited period of time.
2. Regional directors may enter into an agreement with the Government Service Insurance System regarding the insurance coverage of officials and employees in their respective jurisdictions if savings are available for the purpose, subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations.
3. Please be guided accordingly.
