The Association of DepEd Directors, Inc. (ADD, Inc) expresses its full and unequivocal support to the Department’s Basic Education Learning Continuity Plan (BE-LCP), which lays down the groundwork for education to continue during this pandemic. As an organization that aims to provide opportunities for education leaders to strengthen their capabilities in aiding our children in learning, we are convinced that the LCP will establish the current and future programs for our teachers that will support their continuous professional development and prepare them further for the demands of the changing landscape of education.
With the implementation of LCP, we continue to repose our trust in the leadership of Education Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones and her team since we have witnessed how she handles DepEd in this crisis. We trust her superintendence in steering DepEd towards ensuring that basic education thrives amid the pandemic.
Identical to our core values of innovation, leadership, and accountability, we are confident that DepEd will do everything in its power to ensure that every Filipino learner will not be left behind in these trying times. Along this line, we understand the need of joining hands as one country in order to execute these plans in the incoming school year. We urge the various stakeholders including learners, parents, LGUs, PTA, NGOs, GAs, and private entities to continue collaborating with DepEd to fully realize this noble goal of offering learning opportunities despite the situation.
Finally, we commit to harness our efforts, energies, and time so that accessible, relevant, and liberating quality education can be available for all.
Together, we shall overcome.
