1. The inclosed MECS Order No. 16, s. 1985 “Austerity and Simplicity in School Commencement Exercises and Related Activities” is hereby reissued for the information and guidance of parents, students, teachers and school officials concerned.
2. In connection with the Order stated above, all public and private schools are enjoined to observe austerity and simplicity in holding graduation exercises this year.
3. Copies of this Order should be furnished PTA presidents for the information of parents and a copy posted in public buildings including division offices, district offices, schools, colleges, and universities.
