- In consonance with the presidential launching of “Water Conservation Patrol Drive”, all DECS personnel/employees and school children shall henceforth observe water conservation to prevent the shortage of potable water.
- The relevance of using water properly, watching the amount of water used daily, water meter reading and other topics related to water conservation and saving potable water for the future shall be fully discussed in subject areas such as Character Education/Good Manners and Right Conduct, Edukasyong Pantahanan at Pangkabuhayan, Musika, Sining at Edukasyon sa Pagpapalakas ng Katawan,and Science and Health in the elementary level and Values Education, Technology and Home Economics, PEHM (specifically in Health), and Science in the secondary level. Special campaign activities on water conservation and management can also be undertaken the whole year round by the students.
- Teachers and principals, in cooperation with the PTA and other government organization (GOs), and nongovernment organizations (NGOs) are encouraged to conduct seminars designed for parent and out-of-school youth on the importance of water conservation.
- This Order takes effect immediately.
