29 September 2024, LOOK: Education leaders discussed innovative Senior High School (SHS) programs and the revision of SHS Curriculum during the EDCOM2 Inter-Agency meeting recently.

In line with President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s directive to harness the totality of Filipino’s potential, Education Secretary Sonny Angara, TESDA Director General Kiko Benitez, CHED Commissioner Ethel Agnes Valenzuela, EDCOM2 Executive Director Karol Mark Yee, and other EDCOM2 and DepEd officials engaged in discussions focused on advancing SHS and Technical-Vocational-Livelihood (TVL) education nationwide.

Mr. Joaquin Quintos, President of FIRST College, and Ms. Arlene Choo, Principal of Xavier School Nuvali, presented their respective innovative SHS programs and provided recommendations to strengthen national policies on SHS and TVL programs.
