- The 2016 Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act No. 9184, otherwise known as the Government Procurement Reform Act, took effect on October 28, 2016, after its publication in the Official Gazette on August 29, 2016.
- In view of this, all DepEd Procuring Entities are enjoined to fully comply with the 2016 Revised IRR in all its procurement activities. The complete 2016 Revised IRR is enclosed and can also be downloaded at the Government Procurement Policy Board (GPPB) website: www.gppb.gov.ph.
- Immediate dissemination of and strict compliance with this Order is directed.
