Deferment of the Implementation of DECS Order No. 1, s. 1999 (Transfer of Administrative Authority Over Elementary and Secondary Schools to the Province of Camarines Norte from the Province of Quezon)

1. Considering the spirited objections from officials of Quezon Province, and to enable said province to seek appropriate judicial relief on issues allegedly existing, the implementation of DECS Order No. 1, s. 1999, is hereby deferred to March 1, 1999.
Within ten (10) calendar days thereafter, the Division Superintendent of Camarines Norte is hereby directed to report to the Regional Director, DECSRO V copy furnished DECS-Central Office, of steps taken to implement said DECS Order unless otherwise restrained by competent authority.
2. Immediate dissemination of this Order is directed.
