Date of Collection
Red Cross September 1-31, 2002
Anti-TB Fund September 1-31, 2002
Boy Scouts September 1-November 31, 2002
Girl Scouts September 1-November 31, 2002
2. All of these contributions shall be on VOLUNTARY basis and shall not be made a requirement for clearance purposes in case of admission, promotion or transfer of students to other schools.
3. School officials should seek assistance from their respective local government units for the payment of these authorized voluntary contributions in order to minimize the need for collecting from students.
4. School officials should ensure that the process of collection does not lead to any disruption of classes. All collections shall be remitted to the recipient-institutions on the day after the collection period.
5. Quotas for collections should not be set by any school official or representative of the recipient-institution. Therefore any deduction from teachers’ salaries for failure to meet the expected collections is strictly prohibited.
6. The Boy Scouts of the Philippines (BSP), Girl Scouts of the Philippines (GSP), Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) and Philippine Tuberculosis Society have been requested to instruct their local committees/chapters to furnish the school under their coverage the financial statement for their respective areas. The school principals shall be given copies of financial statements by the BSP/GSP local councils in their area and by local chapters or units of the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC) and Philippine Tuberculosis Society (PTS). These financial statements shall be posted in a conspicuous place in the school premises for the perusal of students and parents.
7. Any violation of this Order including cases of unauthorized collections or authorized voluntary collections made a requirement for admission, promotion, or transfer will be dealt with administratively.
8. For immediate and strict compliance.
