1. As part of the Government’s continuing commitment to expand access to public secondary education and assist students in private education, this Department is pleased to announce the provision of additional student grants for the Education Service Contracting (ESC) and Education Voucher System (EVS) for SY 2008-2009.
2. The guidelines for the availment of the grants for the Education Service Contracting (ESC) and Education Voucher System (EVS) are provided in Enclosure No. 1.
3. The Regional and Division Offices are advised to facilitate the distribution of student grants to the graduating grade six pupils from public elementary schools in districts where public secondary schools have acute classroom shortages as indicated in Enclosure No. 4.
4. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Order is directed.
