1.   Inclosed is a copy of Administrative Order dated March 23, 1999, reiterating the provisions of Administrative Order No. 1-A dated January 6, ] 954 and Administrative Order No. 1 dated December 30, 1965, both prohibiting public officers and employees from dealing directly or indirectly or entering into certain kinds of official transactions with real or imagined relatives of the President or the First Lady within the third civil degree of consanguinity or affinity, in matters relating to procurement or purchase of supplies and materials, appointment of government personnel, recommendations for positions or any other matters, calling for action or decision.
2.   In this regard, any officer or employee of the Government, including those in government-owned and controlled corporations, violating this provisions shall be dealt with administratively.
3.   Immediate dissemination of this Order is directed.
