1. Further to DepED Order No. 58, s. 2008, this is to reiterate that personnel involved in the operations of the Basic Education Information System (BEIS) and the production of other relevant reports at the schools, divisions, regions and central office levels are authorized to render overtime/overnight services with pay, whether during regular working days, weekends or on special holidays, as may become necessary, subject to existing accounting and auditing rules and regulations. Overtime pay shall be paid in cash.
2. This authority starts with the SY 2008-2009 BEIS and shall continue to be in force for as long as the BEIS remains DepED’s critical management information system.
3. Further, heads of offices are directed to hire additional manpower as they see fit to meet reporting and submission deadlines. Expenses to be incurred as a result of this shall be charged against local funds of the concerned central, regional and division offices and schools.
4. Immediate dissemination of and compliance with this Order is directed.
