DepEd-NCR soon to offer SHS
Senior High School (SHS) Implementation Planning has gone a lo.ng hard way, from implant to partnerships, to early Registration day. Series of implementation Planning were conducted to meet the Requirements and to overcome challenges of Senior High Program:
a) Facilities: buildable space, classroom needs, school building construction, and other facilities like science laboratories, good library and workshop rooms for different TVL specialization
b) Stakeholders: parents and people in the community who consider the Senior High School as additional expense and not an opportunity for their children
c) Learners: learners are not decided on their choice of track and strand;

One of the highlights iS the implementation planning in the advocacy campaign which started as early as September 2014. Schools Division Offices were encouraged to hold different activities in their areas, distribute flyers and brochure to disseminate information about the different programs. There were activities of different levels, in different dimensions: convergence meeting on the regional and division levels, SHS Summit, K+12 Fora; Meeting of stakeholders; action planning by schools, by districts, by divisions; meetings with LGUs and other NGOs, mapping in barangays; caravan; assemblies; career path tracking; posting of division maps and tarpaulins and many other collaborative activities to bring awareness and to look into the needs of the school and the learners and find opportunities of partnerships. After a long planning, the following regional data were obtained as of May 11, 2016.
