City of San Fernando, Pampanga—As part of the continuing efforts undertaken by the Department of Education to communicate the K to 12 Program to the public, DepEd Region III holds the Senior High School Inter-Agency Forum on October 9, 2015 at the Regional Office.
As a follow-through to the SHS Information Campaign in the Regional Offices located in the Diosdado Macapagal Government Center conducted in September-October 2015, the SHS Inter-Agency Conference is an advocacy activity which aims to increase the knowledge and awareness of the government employees of government offices and other line agencies regarding the K to 12 Curriculum and the Senior High School Program.
“The successful implementation of the K to 12 Program lies on a comprehensive and efficient communication and advocacy plan to reach out and engage all the stakeholders and successfully solicit their much-needed support to this major educational reform in our country,” stressed DepEd Regional Director Malcolm S. Garma.
