Selected school communities from different Schools Divisions set foot in the Regional Office VII on August 10, 2016 for an Orientation meet-up with one of the stakeholders in the region’s Adopt-A-School Program, Global Filipino Schools Program. Miguel Bermundo, Citizenship Manager of Globe Telecom spearheaded the meet-up with the objective of briefing these 11 selected schools to the programs and activities, its guidelines on the Corporate Social Responsibility Programs and its initiated plan to train its recipients on the integration of Information Technology to the teachers of other disciplines. As part of its aim to integrate Information Technology in other learning disciplines, Global Filipino Schools provides free internet connection to all selected school communities for better and improved access to learning and education in a millennial world.
