Recently, DOH recognized the efforts of the DepEd R9 Healthworkers composed of nurses from eight divisions in view of their active participation during the National School Deworming Day. The Gala Night Ceremony for the Champions against Infectious Diseases was held at Astoria Hotel, Zamboanga City on November 16.

In the same light, two regional nutritionists-dietitians, Fe Sedillo and Eric Bangkal were also acknowledged for their support as active members in Monitoring Evaluation of Local Level Plan Implementation during the Regional Nutritional Council Ceremony in November 20 held at Palmeras, Zamboanga City with no less than the DOH Asst. Secretary as the Keynote Speaker.
