Deped 9’s 1st Reg’l Confab: 319 educ’l leaders awarded
DepEd RO 9 piloted its first ever regional assembly and awarding ceremonies at Mardale Hotel, Pagadian City on Jan. 13-14.
Such gathering has drawn a positive response from its workforce. This recognition of awardees coming from the eight divisions is very timely and appropriate. They were accorded praise due them and were considered the silent heroes of our society.
Commissioner of the National Youth Commission(NYC), Hon. Earl P. Saavedra, Keynote Speaker of the event said, “I believe in the capacity of the people and institutions of this region. The awards may serve as a reminder to all to continue to move forward and to dream big.”
The award presenters who graced the occasion were Reg’l Dir. Isabelita Borres and OIC-Assistant Reg’l Dir. Pedro Melchor Natividad together with the Chiefs of Divisions of the region and the Schools Division Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents of the eight divisions.
These awards were given to 319 Deped employees who are not only doing exemplary services but whose contributions or initiatives made an impact in their workplace. Each outstanding employees per division in Elementary and in Secondary Levels were awarded in the following category, namely: Highest National Achievement Test Rating; Outstanding School Principal (P1- PIV); Outstanding Master Teacher (MTI-MTII); Outstanding Teacher in Elementary and Outstanding Teacher per subject area in Secondary; Outstanding District Supervisor; Outstanding Division Supervisor; Outstanding Administrative Officer; Outstanding Accountant; Outstanding Bookkeeper; Outstanding Supply Officer; Outstanding Guidance Counselor/Coordinator; Outstanding BSP Coordinator; Outstanding GSP Coordinator; Outstanding School PTA; Outstanding Division Employees; Outstanding SPED Teacher (ID, HI, Autism, UI, DL, FL); Outstanding Multigrade Teacher; Outstanding Planning Officer; Outstanding ALIVE Teacher; and Outstanding Kindergarten Teacher.
The department is grateful for the initiative and efforts of these individuals who helped raise the bar of excellence in our educational system.
