1. DepEd Order No. 58, s. 2009 reads, among other things, as follows:
   1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 54, s. 2009 on the Revised Guidelines Governing Parents-Teachers Associations at the School Level, the Office of the Undersecretary for Regional Operations, thru the Center for Students and Co-Curricular Affairs (CSCA), is hereby designated as the focal office to handle concerns and activities of the Parents-Teachers Associations (PTAs) and its Federations.

2. However, it is necessary to unload the Office of the CSCA and assign the Office of the Undersecretary for Regional Operations to exercise its discretion in the selection of the appropriate office that will handle the concerns and activities of the PTAs and its federations.
3. Therefore, the abovecited DepEd Order is hereby amended and shall read as follows:
   1. Pursuant to DepEd Order No. 54, s. 2009 on the
   Revised Guidelines Governing Parents-Teachers
   Associations at the School Level, the Office of the Undersecretary for Regional Operations, or its duly assigned office, is hereby designated as the focal office to handle concerns and activities of the Parents- Teachers Associations (PTAs) and its Federations.

4. The Office of the Undersecretary for Regional Operations is hereby given the authority to assign, subject to the approval of the Office of the Secretary, the office to be designated to handle the concerns and activities of the PTAs and its federations.
5. The Office of the Center for Students and Co-Curricular Affairs is hereby directed to turn over the handling of the concerns and activities of the PTAs and its federations to the Office of the Undersecretary for Regional Operations.
6. This DepEd Order is approved and shall take effect upon its publication in the DepEd website: www.deped.gov.ph.
7. Immediate dissemination of and strict compliance with this Order is directed.
