1.    Coverage. This DECS Order contains the list of approved periodicals which were included in DECS Order No. 47, s. 1996 and DECS Order 104, s. 1997. Issuance of this list is necessary to inform DECS offices re. corrections and changes involving the titles, publishers, number of pages and prices of these materials.

2.    Ceiling prices. The ceiling prices of the approved periodicals as indicated in Annex 1 of this DECS Order are hereby adopted effective immediately. It is reiterated that field officials may negotiate for discounts from suppliers particularly when large volumes of purchases are involved, consistent with established practice in the publishing industry, in order to secure the best terms for the government.
