1. Republic Act No. 5711 provides that the Capiz Institute of Technology shall offer Engineering courses whenever possible, among other courses specified in said law.
2. Pursuant to said law and on the basis of the report and recommendation of a representative of the Technical Panel for Engineering Education dated October 16, 1985, the Capiz Institute of Technology is hereby authorized to operate the 5th year of BS Electrical Engineering and 5th year BS Mechanical Engineering course, effective June 17m 1985, provided, that the construction of the hydraulic setup and steam boiler shall be completed within fifteen (15) days upon receipt hereof and, in anticipation of increased enrolment, the equipment and faculty for the said courses shall also be accordingly increased. The 1st to 4th year of the aforementioned courses was authorized earlier under MECS Order No. 26, and 48, s. 1984.
3. This authority shall be subject to revocation should the aforementioned institution not operate in accordance with the laws of the Republic of the Philippines or fail to maintain the prescribed standards of instruction and/or to comply with the rules and regulations pertaining to the organizations, administration, and supervision of educational institutions in the Philippines.
