Dr. Jerome T. Buenviaje is a distinguished educator, researcher, and public servant. Most notably, he served as the Dean of the University of the Philippines College of Education (UPCEd) for two consecutive terms (2019-2025), demonstrating exceptional leadership and vision. A multifaceted expert in education, research, leadership, and management, he earned his Ph.D. in Education from UPCEd with the highest Academic Excellence Award. He also completed an Executive Education Program at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy of National University of Singapore, and holds ISO 21001 certification as lead implementer.
