ATTY. CHRISTIAN E. RIVERO

Atty. Christian E. Rivero is a proud native of Naga City, Camarines Sur, in the Bicol region. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from the University of the Philippines Diliman and is currently on leave from pursuing his Doctorate in Public Administration (DPA) at the same university. He also holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management and three master’s degrees, including one in Disaster and Crisis Management. Atty. Rivero completed his AB Political Science degree (Cum Laude) and served as President of the Ateneo Supreme Student Government. In 1997, he was recognized as a finalist for the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP).
A licensed Professional Teacher and Environmental Planner, Atty. Rivero holds a CESO IV rank. He has served as Director of DepEd’s Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Service (DRRMS) and Director of CHED’s Higher Education Development Fund (HEDF). He currently serves as the Supervising Director of DepEd’s Sites and Titling Office, where he plays a crucial role in addressing land and infrastructure issues in the education sector.
With extensive experience teaching undergraduate and graduate programs across universities in Metro Manila and Bicol, Atty. Rivero remains deeply committed to education and public service. He has authored college textbooks and instructional modules and recently published a book of essays on his paternal hometown, “Lagonoy.”
Atty. Rivero is happily married and a devoted father to one daughter. His family currently resides in Legazpi City, Albay.
